The St. Augustine Art Association Plein Air Paint Out Exhibit

The St. Augustine Art Association invites you to its community-wide 7th Annual St. Augustine Plein Air Paint Out in the nation’s oldest city scheduled April 25 – 28, 2023. This event, a nod to St. Augustine’s art history, celebrates the town’s architectural and coastal beauty through the time-honored tradition of painting en plein air (outdoors). Artists will be painting in and around St. Augustine at notable locations. In addition to watching the artists paint on location, observers can visit the St. Augustine Art Association’s gallery to see (or buy) works-in-progress and finished paintings. Works completed during the Paint Out will be on display in the Adventures en Plein Air Exhibit May 5 – 28, at the St. Augustine Art Association.

Updates to events and locations during the Paint Out will be posted on the website as they become available. All art sales benefit the artists and programming of the St. Augustine Art Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1924.
The Plein Air Pop Up Exhibit, featuring works completed during the Paint Out, will be on display at the St. Augustine Art Association and online May 7 – 28, 2023.
