Headliner: The Beaux Arts Chamber Ensemble Performs Piano Trios

Beaux Arts Chamber Ensemble presents a program of Piano Trios featuring two youthful works by great masters and one American masterpiece. The Trio will bring to life Felix Mendelssohn’s achingly beautiful and complex Piano Trio in D Minor, op 49; Schubert’s transcendent Nocturno, and Paul Schoenfield’s brilliant and technically demanding Cafe Music which draws inspiration from music such as early 20th century American jazz, light classical, gypsy, klezmer, and Broadway.   

This program is both viscerally exciting and emotionally satisfying. Performed by award winning musicians – violinist Huifang Chen, cellist Claudio Jaffe, and pianist Tao Lin – Beaux Arts Chamber Ensemble has been featured in notable series across the country and praised for its passionate playing and imaginative ideas.
